Digital Audio File Size Calculator
Sound File Size Calculator. [UPDATE: Link no longer works; the site redesigned itself and they tossed their extra little goodie] Enter the time (seconds, minutes; don’t use hours!), bit depth and sample rate (CD Audio is 16 bit, 44.1 rate), number of tracks (1 for mono, 2 for stereo), and view the resulting file size.
UPDATE (2007-05-06): I’m considering creating one of my own to put here.

HI,
Neat site, thank you for your work in putting it together. I can’t seem to locate the sound file size calculator which was why I initially located this site. When I click on the link I get to a music instruction site but I can’t find
the calculator. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Looks as though the site did a whole redesign, and the calculator was sacrificed to whatever new navigation they put up. Bummer about that.
Hmmm. I wonder how difficult it would be to re-create the tool with javascript and put it here? If so, it’ll never go away. On the other hand, I won’t get to it fora while.
Well, scratch that about it taking forever. I created it. Now I gotta figure out the best way to put it on this site. I think for now it’ll be an ugly little popup window. It’ll be here soon.
